RGPD
RGPD: Apple complies with the general regulation on data protection.
Apple has indicated that users will have control over their iOS, tvOS, watchOS and macOS data. They will be able to download, modify or delete their private data at any time.
This follows the general regulation on data protection (RGPD) to be implemented on May 25 in Europe. European regulation on data processing will therefore be stricter.
Apple will soon provide a new feature that will allow
through its web portal to independently download a copy of all personal
information stored on the servers of the firm in Cupertino. The data download
methods allow you to have a clear division of data divided for each
application, such as Contacts, Apple Music or another so you can manage your
Apple ID seamlessly and respecting your privacy.
Apple has already introduced in the new update iOS 11.3 and
11.3 tvOS a new feature that will allow users to receive notification when a
service or a feature of the operating system requests access to your sensitive
data, to make the use of your device clearer and more transparent.
Given recent events related to the scandal of Cambridge
Analytica and Facebook, Apple had to be more clear in terms of the privacy of
its millions of users, while providing the necessary to control their private
data.
